She Is The Lost Girl

Travelling Full Time Since 2014

Hi, I’m Beth. Welcome to She Is The Lost Girl

In 2014, I booked a one-way flight thinking I was just “going travelling.” What I didn’t realise then was that I wasn’t just leaving home—I was going in search of it. What started as an adventure became a way of life, a process of becoming, and a deep reckoning with who I am and what I value.

For over a decade now, I’ve been living on the road—across continents, through seasons of growth, grief, and everything in between.

What I’ve Learned Along the Way

This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s been messy and magical, lonely and liberating. I’ve worked in pubs, scrubbed toilets, picked fruit, slept in cars, sang in bars, and quietly taught English online while watching the sun rise over new horizons. I’ve learned that freedom isn’t found in faraway places—it’s built from within.

I don’t travel to escape life—I travel because it brings me closer to it. To slowness. To perspective. To people and stories that crack me open and rebuild me softer, stronger, and more awake.

How I Share My World

Over time, I found myself behind the camera more often, capturing the quiet moments that others might miss—the way light touches old stone, the stillness of early mornings, the wild chaos of movement. Photography and filmmaking became my way of holding on to what matters. And now, it’s how I make a living.

I work with ethical brands, tourism boards, and publications to tell honest, grounded stories rooted in lived experience.

Let’s Get Lost Together

These days, I share my life online to show others what’s possible outside the 9–5, without glossing over the hard bits. On YouTube, I break down how I afford this life, how to live on the road, how to create meaningful content. On Instagram and TikTok, you’ll find behind-the-scenes chaos, everyday stillness, and the quiet joys that fill the in-between.

If you’re here, I hope you leave feeling seen. Or inspired. Or maybe just reminded that you’re allowed to live differently.

Because getting lost? It’s how I found myself.
And maybe, it’s how you will too.
